Course Offerings

Art I 

This is an introductory course for students.  This course includes introduces students to the elements and principles of design, as well as application in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and crafts. Through the application and exposure to different media, students can enhance their skills in their private life as well as home, school, and community activities. 

Art II

This course is open to all students who have taken Art I.  Students broaden their knowledge of the elements and principles of design, exploring familiar and new media, and techniques. New terminology is also introduced to expland students' art vocabulary. 

Art III

This course is open to all students who have taken Art I and Art II.  Through the use of familiar and new media, and after teacher/student assessments, students in Art II are assigned advanced studio projects that enhance the student's ability, interestes, goals, and strengths. 

Fine Arts Survey -- NOT CURRENTLY OFFERED

Fine Arts Survey is a course designed for college-bound students to broaden knowledge/foundation in the humanities. The course will include an overview of music, creative writing, theatre, dance, the visual arts, and film.
